How fast can I take my Nitto555R drag radials?

Recently caught a flat in my Pzeros, so i been riding around
with my Nitto555R Drag radials on my stock rims.
I see the speed rating for the tires are a R rating.

Toying around with a Integra today I found myself going
130+. Wondering if these tires can hold up at speeds.

thanks

Well you all ready know they have an R rating. Which means one of two things.

1)
2)Rated max speed of 149 mph.

Are you sure the R is the speed rating and not the radial designation?

An R speed rating is only 106 mph. Obviously, they can handle higher speeds than that, being a drag tire. However, they may not be built for sustained high speed running.

Yeah, it's amazing what kind of information you can find on the manufacturer's web site...
