How fast can I take my Nitto555R drag radials?
How fast can I take my Nitto555R drag radials?
Recently caught a flat in my Pzeros, so i been riding around
with my Nitto555R Drag radials on my stock rims.
I see the speed rating for the tires are a R rating.
Toying around with a Integra today I found myself going
130+. Wondering if these tires can hold up at speeds.
thanks

Are you sure the R is the speed rating and not the radial designation?
An R speed rating is only 106 mph. Obviously, they can handle higher speeds than that, being a drag tire. However, they may not be built for sustained high speed running.

Depending on the size, your 555Rs have a V (149 mph) or Y (186 mph) speed rating.

everyone always warned me about not going too fast or driving in the rain with these tires and also how fast they wear out and none of it was ever true
maybe I got a lucky set these tires were the perfect product
