How easy is it to install frontmount

I just bought a Blitz fontmount intercooler and I'm woundering how easy would it be to install it myself. I have allready relocated my battery so thats not an issue anymore. I am relatively knowlegable of cars. How long will an average person install a front mount if I've allready moved my battery.

It took me 2 1/2 full days to install my greddy FMIC with japanese instructions. This includes cutting the bumper reinforcement, bumper skin, changing the radiator, relocating the power steering cooler, AC components, intake, and battery. From what I understand installing the blitz is less involved.

And he was doing the drive it, wait for the coupler to come off, and then put it back on, thing.

Looks sweet though Chris.

it depends. Some can take somewhere in the 2 1/2 day range. I spent an afternoon on my Apexi, including fabricating custom radiator brackets. It's completely dependent on the IC, and on your experience and mechanical ability.

The blitz FMIC is the most easy IC. It doesn't need to take out the bumper. The Greddy and HKS, I heard it gives ppl many headache.

The Blitz FMIC is very easy to install. The only thing that may slow you down is cutting part of the sway bar bracket. You will need to do this so that the included radiator brackets will work. Either than that, it should not take you 5-7 hours.

MJW did a nice write up with pics. Here you go:

Goodluck!

You need to even without the intercooler. It's not a myth, there is a good chance you will blow your motor w/o upgrading the ECU with your mods.

Get a PFC, it does wonders for the car. It's as much a performance upgrade as a reliability mod.
