how do you fix the fuel leak near the intake elbow

hey people i just notice that i had a fuel leak there are 3 rubber hoses that go to the metal piping on the rats nest, i have changed out the rubber hose and made sure thati got the high pressure hose. the hose thats leaking is the one closes to the throttle body if anyone can help that will be good tnanks again

Those 3 hoses are:

fuel feed
fuel return
purge control to the charcoal cannister

What kind of clamps did you use? What kind of hose did you use?

well ray at malloy mazda in woodbridge helped me out with the factory high pressure hose so im thinking thats its rite its was like a 5/16 th i think but i have the same hose that i got off the car. i swapped those hose's out and no i still have the problem even with the new hose it drips fuel can anybody help

maybe the clamps arent good enough. did you buy new clamps? the best thing to do is get "fuel injection clamps". they dont crimp the line and make it mush out of the sides. its got a solid band. thats the next step.

maybe the hardline has a small crack in it?

have you checked to see if the fuel leak is perhaps coming from further up under the UIM and running down the lines?

have you pulled the UIM and checked the FPR, the pulse dampener, and the injectors for leaks?

yea i did the pulse dampner mode that was a pain in my _sss but i got it, when i checked the lines the fuel is comming of the third line near the fire wall i think the book says its comming from the charcoal line im not sure my eyes were really bad trying look it up in the shop manule so please if anybody can throw there 2 cents in it would help

what do you want to know it was just pain in the *** i had to take everthing out from the alt, intake, tb. manufold, oil catch can and any other mods that i put on

i think he was asking was what exactly did you "mod" in the pulsation dampner.

hey guy i dont understand your ? but here goes i did nothing of a mod to the fpd i just replaced it with the stock set up, ? for you guys if i go single what goes and what stays and were can i get those fuel injections clamps
