Question How do I tell it's real?

Simple question. I've found a 99 spec rear wing for a good price. The owner claims it's genuine mazda. How do I tell? This is an aftermarket one here:

Thanks for looking.

You are bidding on a brand new JDM RX7 99 Spec Fibreglass Rear Spoiler. This is an exact replica of the original part include all mounting hardware. The angle of the centre piece is adjustable. It is believe that the part is the best quality in the market.

he just said that its a "exact replica"

It's a different seller, I was just posting that as an example. I'm about to go look, does anyone know how I can tell the difference?

Thanks, I'm off to look at it now. I'll hopefully be able to tell anyway, all the aftermarket body parts I've seen in the flesh before haven't looked that good.

You are correct, the mazda part is plastic. I was correct also in that it was easy to see that it was a mazda part. As I said to the guy I bought it off, if it is an aftermarket part it's the best quality aftermarket part I've ever seen

Cheers,
Michael
