Question How Do I make the Efini Y pipe fit for the M2 Medium Intercooler?

I just discovered I have an Efini Y Pipe with the hard pipe crossover just sitting there in one of my parts boxes from my first FD!

I will be taking out all of the piping, IC, Airbox, etc to replace my radiator later this month, and will be doing this along with a Pineapple Racing Pulley to eliminate my Airpump. Now the question is how do I put this Y pipe on my car with an M2 Medium IC? The IC and THe Y Pipe Line up perfectly right now... The crossover will make this not fit.

Has anyone made this combination work? WIll I need to cut the crossover?

It doesn't it goes with the original Y-Pipe. Unless you make yourself a custom pipe for the hotside.

So did people go to the efini Y simply for the Hard pipe crossover and slightly better flow?

I have the part, and would hate to sell it. Guess I will find myself a machinist.

With my Pettit Coolcharge II (old style), I had to cut a few inches off the Efini cross-over pipe to make it fit. The downside is that I had to cut off the bevel. I didn't have a new bevel created, but it hasn't been a problem for about 3 years now.

I thought about that, but for the cost of destroying the Crossover, I could probably sell it and have someone make an extension off the efini... Hmmm. I have all the parts off the car for my other projects so now would be the time to take them somewhere for estimates.
