Mine looks to be to high in the closed position and too high up on the up postion. When the light assembly is up the lower part of the black strowd (the one that covers the front of the light) is about 1/2 to 3/4 higher than the front bumper. I hope I explained this well enough for you guys to help me out. If not I guess Ill shoot a pic of it.

Btw I could not seem to find it in my manual that I d/l

the oem headlight units have a manuel adjustment **** for each unit, accessable through the engine bay. hope that helps.

Railgun

That may not help. There's an internal position sensor (for lack of a better term) that will either close or open (depending on the position of the switch) if you turn it far enough. You might also have to adjust the little rubber stopper or the cover itself.

Where might I find the manual adjustment ****? It seems to be moving the correct distance but it sits a bit to high.

railgun is right, but if your only talkin about a half inch you may be able to get away wth it. i snapped a pic of the location.

Uh, that's not an adjustment, that's a manual way of raising and lowering the lights, if you notice, they go right back to where they started... if you adjust them...
I think the rubber stopper idea is good, otherwise do a search on sleepy lights and try to find a post on how to adjust the stopping position...

I would check for actuator arm damage or the actuator itself being loose.

You will see what I mean if you pull off the light lid and the front light cover.
