i never ever see them. Unless i go to someone's house to look at one to buy or am at an rx7 meet. That's y i want one sooooooooo bad.

 

i used to live in madison and i know which yellow FD you're talking about... i used to see it on South Park St... person i worked with said she saw NOS bottles in it... haha... wonder if they were actually hooked up...

What exactly is a "rex" as you call it. Are you refering to a RX_ or are you refering to a 1st gen, 2nd gen, and/or 3rd gen RX7?

 

I have only seen 2 down here in Southern FL, one is rx7even and i dont know the other person. Mine hasnt been out for a while ( waitin for the single turbo ) And I know that rx7tt95 has a nice FD but I havent ever met up with him. When I was in MN I only saw one FD other than at a show, there were 3 there not including mine.

There are a bunch of FDs here in my area in LA.
I see one every other day and my neighbor has the exact same car also as a daily driver.
Not that rare here those FD's.....

 

I see more posters here from Tampa bay area or at the mechanics than I ever see actuall driving around and I've had mine for 9 years. I think I have seen an RX-7 actually driving around Clearwater/Tampa less than 20 times in almost a decade.

For comparison, I see more Vipers. I see a Viper maybe once a week. I see a RX -7 outside of a mechanic shop maybe 1 a month or 2 at best. It is really weird when I actually see one. Mine included

 

I see'em maybe once every 2 weeks. Same goes for a supra. I live a little closer to the border, the majority of FD's are up north.

Vettes on the other hand.... was there a buy one get the 2nd half off at the dealership??

 

Haha....ever notice they are almost always middle aged (balding) guys driving vettes too?

 

i see at least 4 or more vettes a day..

FDs.. maybe once every other week.. FCs.. almost everyday

 

what do you expect...in 1998 alone they produced 31,000 vettes....

 

that's why the fd is the perfect car...good looks, unique (rotary), pretty rare, good performance.

 

Agreed. I can honestly say that I have my dream car, and I envy no other.

sorry...I just can't believe no one else commented...I'm lucky to see one a month; thank god, since mine's been in the shop for almost 5 months and when I do see one I want to cry!
