Question FC rotors in FD motor?

Hey guys, I need a quick pool of opinions on this. My engine is at BNR right now, and I really need to let Bryan know what I want to do ASAP...mainly because I'm about to start a nervous breakdown after five months without my car!

This is a question he sent me via email:

"I have heard some great things about putting 2nd gen lower compression rotors in the 3rg gen set up. A noticable increase in torque is made in the midrange b/c of the heavier set rotors. Being heavier also makes the rotor more stable and will not collapse like the hollow 3rd gen rotors do. I have a set ready to put in the engine. I was thinking about going ahead and building it for you this weekend.
There is a guy I have been talking to that has an RX2 in the 8's. He has this same set up and says he made 8 second passes on pump fuel and about 30 psi of boost!!!! I don't know how he did this, but he swears it on his kids and wife.
With the lower compression rotors you will be less subject to detonation under boost."

This sounds great, but like I said, additional opinions/feedback would be much appreciated!

Thanks!

<note that most performance mods listed in my sig are what I'll have AFTER I get the car back!>
