Question How come I get low boost when engine is fully warmed up?

On hot days, after driving around traffic, I only get 5lbs. of boost in both turbos, and on cooler days (remember, only in SoCal) or when I've only been driving my car for around 15-20 minutes the car boosts properly. Is it a leak in the intercooler hose or elbow or something? Plus I think I have a stuck solenoid, cause sometimes I get boost and sometimes it seems to "forget". Thanks.

Probably the solenoid you were talking about... I am sure they dont like the high engine bay temps.

The turbo control solenoid that is attched to the ACV has a tendency to fail once heat levels rise. I don't know if it will affect both turbos though. To find boost leaks try the test I posted here https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...ght=boost+leak

Low Boost

Sometimes i would have the same problem and if all checks out ok with the solinoids, then check the clamps on all the intercooler couplings. They have a tendancy to loosen up under heat and bleed off some of the boost. The coupling that has a problem with this is the rubber one right off the stock "Y" pipe.
