how can u tell authentic 99 tails?

i want to buy some 99 tails that a guy from new zealand has for sale. he sent me pics and they good but how can you tell if they are reall 99's or not.

i thought on the non 99 spec, they also have a little bulge already. i was told that the older ones have a sort of flat black or faded black on the non 99 specs on the outer edge, while the 99 specs have a shiny black to em. not to sure...

Not true. Mine are from a 94 and the circles were bulged out BUT not blacked out. So I blacked them out using spray paint using the same size of the circles that were bugled and no one can tell they're not 99...

when they're lit up, you can def tell for sure..

depending on who did the coversion of course

how do you figure??? i can do a conversion that you cannot even tell when its next to the real ones! but it takes very very long though! and nobody wants to pay for it

well thats why i said it depends on the coverter..but in daylight, its hard to tell, at night when they are lit up, you can tell by the way they're lit..hard to explain, someone post a pic of litted converted ones and ill post a pic of my real ones lit..
