How can I tell if my fd is ported

I was finally able to get my fd running again, my dumb-*** it was flooded, but anyway, i wanted to know if there is anyway to tell if the car has any type of port job done to it. I got it from a trade at dealership, and they didnt know anything about it, well now i am trying to sort it out to determine the direction of mods, so besides the way that it idles, because when it idles, it hunts up and down and also when it gets warmed up totaly and you drive it a bit, it hunts up twice, and then down like rappp, rappp then down...lol i know that was silly. but anyway, iam trying to figure if it is ported, or if i have some issue, i just installed a PFC and have some other mods. Anyone have any ideas.

Also I wanted to give a shout out to Rotary Performance, you guys are awesome, and thanks for all of you help

Thanks guys

Have you done a compression test yet?

Did you read the PFC manual and follow the directions for "learning idle" after you installed the PFC?

Have you gone through the and adjusted various mechanical settings on the throttle body and checked TPS?

Back on topic. . .

As far as the ports go, it would be difficult to find out without peeking into the engine itself. I mean you could look at the exhaust ports if you were interested in dropping the turbos and the exhaust manifold, but I think you'd be hard-pressed to tell from the outside even then. Best bet is to track down the info from the previous owner. The dealership had to have gotten it from someone.
