How can I get by w/o ecu upgrade?
I'm going to be running dp, mp, and borla cat back and have an open intake I might swap in as well.
Can I just run a very large pill/no pill in wastegate line to keep me running safe until i can afford to upgrade ecu? Anything else i can do?

You should wait for the ecu or u will pop ur motor like i did!
I got my hks ti exhaust and i could wait a month to get my apex pfc tuned by XS so i put it on and drove it around. A few days later i pop my apex seal... its been a about over a month... i saving for a rebuilt

Why not just get an ECU? Chipped ECU's are selling used for under $500 and you'll get more HP out of your setup. Plus, if you want to upgrade to something like a PowerFC, you could always sell the chipped ECU later for the same price you bought it for.
Its a bargain for peace of mind for not replacing your engine.

with the stock ECU, only run either an intake/dp combo, intake/exhaust combo, or dp/exhaust combo. do not run more than two mods with the stock ECU and DO NOT run a midpide with the stock ECU.
