ive seen worse...

you might be able to get a better one from a rotary rebuild shop, or you could try to repair that one.

errrr....dont know if you need to do all that. you could probably just weld up the crack and then cut-down/file-off the excess metal. i've seen a couple manifold flanges repaired that way.

yeah im sure it would be fine. the right thing to do would be to take the turbos apart. i've taken apart my twins twice so far. it only takes about 20 minutes. just make sure you clock the CHRA's & compressor housings correctly when you put them back together - otherwise you'll have an alignment problem with the oil & water lines (learned from experience) and maybe even the "Y" pipes.

i also ported the exhaust side of my turbo housings...i figured - my motor has a street port, might as well port out the turbo housings a little bit. seems they spool just as fast as stock even though i'm running them non-seq now.

That crack is not that bad. Make sure the flange is flat, take it to a shop to have it sanded or milled flat and bolt those turbos up.

FD turbos last as long as about 2-3 engines if you aren't running the boost up high (past 12psi).

Theorie, your non-seq setup spools as fast as seq? As in, 10 psi of boost instantaneously at 3k+ rpm?
