How about this wing?

Does anyone have experience with this wing from Wicked Bodies or pictures of it on their car?

It's a Racing Beat/Mazdaspeed replica. Search the interior/exterior section for "Racing Beat Wing Type 2".

Here's a pic of my car with the Mazdaspeed version of that wing. Same thing pretty much.

I think it looks bad, but who cares about my opinion I have the 99spec and I think there is a huge difference in appearance between it and this wing

Sort of a plug...

I have what looks to be exactly that wing at home. I took it off of my car since I'm a fan of the wingless look, but if anybody's interested in having it, I'll sell it cheap since it's just taking up space. PM if interested.

Taste is very subjective. I personally think the 99spec/Mazdaspeed/RacingBeat wings look incredibly out of place w/ the stock FD lines...and think it looks nothing short of horrible on the back of an FD. So I don't see how anyone can think it looks good And there are quite a few ppl on the forum who feel the same, believe it or not. You just don't hear about it b/c of the overwhelming "99spec or bust" crowd that's prevalent on the forum - even if it looks bad

On that note, I think that spoiler looks BADASS on the WRX (it's essentially the same spoiler haha), since the WRX is boxy. The boxiness (word?) of the spoiler matches the boxiness of the car.

I have it on mine and love it - basically a more aggressive version of the 99-spec. However... my car is black - and you tend to be able to get away with a lot more with the black cars (everything blends just a little bit better)

I know there are a lot of people who don't like it on here; that's why I said I don't see how people can't.

But like you said, it's all personal preference

stock r1 wings are a little outdated (early 90s looking , like mc hammer and vanilla ice) whereas the rest of the FD body looks as present-day as the new cars that are being made.

99 spec and rb wings look pretty out of place on stock FD, i agree . 99 spec wing looks ridiculous on 99 spec'd fd sometimes too.

that being said fds are some of the most beautiful cars.

anyway, i have a mazdaspeed/RB type 2 wing ive yet to install (how can i tell which i have? any markings?). i think it looks pretty ricey. but its going on anyways, if not for a week or 2 lol.

i'll b sure to pass it on to someone that needs it afterwards

unless i decide to keep it

Sevensix, my Mazdaspeed spoiler has "Mazdaspeed" actually imprinted into the fiberglass underneath.

Also have the Mazdaspeed on a Silver. Only difference is the center and sideplates done in gloss black to set it off a bit.

What wheels do you have there Quickfini?

I always wondered how black centers would look on a silver FD, and i really like them now that i saw yours!

Hey, they're old school Work Equips. The old school versions are more curvy though, sorta like the Work Meister S1's, except the center part where the bolts are doesn't sink in.
