Houston, We have a Problem...Dead FD
Ok well here goes....
Last week we had a nice warm day (60 degrees or so...warmest day we have had since i got the FD in November). Anyhow, I was driving around, just enjoying my car. Wasnt running it hard or anything, just taking a relaxing drive. Well as I was driving, my car Just died....Dead as a doornail. Gauges still worked, Radio was still on ect. Then...a few seconds later, the engine came back to life and it was running perfectly. Gauges all reading good, as if nothing ever happened. At this point i turned to head home. I wasnt sure what was going on, and I really didnt feel like getting stuck on the side of the road. On my way home it did it 3 more times to me (in about 10 miles). Well anywayz I got it home, no Big Deal. I didnt mess with it much. Yesturday was another slightly warm day, right about 54 outside. I took the FD out again, and it does the exact same thing, a Few more times. So i get it home, put it in the garage, and was going to wait untill Monday and call the local rotary shop. Since it seemed to be an Intermittent problem, I was very concerned, but it wasnt first priority.
Well, now its a Priority. I got in the car today, to move it out of the garage and it wont start. Spins over just fine, and you can feel/hear even compression rotations from the exhaust, But no Fire.
And lastly, here is a few things that may help the Rotary Guru's out there to help me figure this thing out. Compression was tested when i got the car, 125 On Both Rotors, all Faces. It doesnt seem to do it under any cirtain load or RPM, its kinda "Random". Ive driven the car numerous times on cold days, without a glitch. Even took a 300 miles road trip in it and never had a single Issue. The car only seems like it does this when its warm out? I was initially thinking that maybe some type of sensor was over-heating or something, but that theory was **** out of the water now that the car sat all night, Its 40 degrees out and it wont start...??
If anyone can help i really would appreciate it. And sorry for the long Book here....but i wanted to give as much info as possible.

all you checked was the fuel pressure? what about everything else?
the fuel filter, maybe the relay for the fuel pump..you check spark, what about your coils, have you checked those?
sometimes its the little thing that you wont notice that will be the cause of the problem..

Might be a loose connection or ground wire - I'd suspect a loose wire somewhere. Of course, these are the types of problems that are WAY fun to try and find . You're gonna have to arm yourself with a meter and a shop manual and start checking voltages.

Check the "sensor-boost" connection on the left side of the brake booster. That being disc. makes your car run like crap. It's a long shot since your car runs fine for a while but it's something to check.
