Hoses on the stock air box

On my car I count 7 hoses coming off the stock air box. Really mine only has 6. The one that is on the inboard side of the box is missing. On my brothers car it is there but it goes to nothing. What is this one for?

are you talking about the one that points towards the battery? I have a hose there, but it goes to nothing, like your bro's car.

It is just a discharge and goes under the airbox. It helps quite the airpump and/or the BOVs. No biggie not to have it.

the mystery "7th hose" simply hangs down. It doesn't connect to anything. It is the discharge for the air pump/bov/crv.

Hey I found the offending hose. It was in a box of stuff the guy I bought it from have me. I was looking for something different and there it was. Just goes to show the best way to find something is to not look for it. Now I have 7 hoses for what that's worth

The 7th Hose (the hose to NOWARE) is the discharge for the BYPASS air ONLY there is a muffler built into the top of the Airbox for bypass air and is sealed off from the rest of the airbox so the bypas air DOES NOT mix with the rest of the intake air. The hose that runs along side the secondary turbo intake hose next to the engine is the bypass air from the air control valve. The BOV & CRV vent directly into the airbox and not into the bypass air muffler.
