Hose Techniques kit

I went to www.hosetechniques.com and searched their catalog but I wasn't sure what I was looking at. I remember before somebody said their kits cost like 60 bucks? I was wondering if anybody had either a kit they would sell or a link to what i need? Thanks in advance

I think it cost $130....but if you go non-sequential, you only use about 7% of it total

I bought just the hose and not the "kit". Their hose is pretty crummy stuff but adequate. I needed to put Number 1 springs inside the hose to keep it from kinking on some of the tight radius turns. (Old airplane mechanic's trick)

I really pissed em' off last time I dissed their products but the fact is they are a slick outfit and sell mediocre quality at VERY high prices. I'm sure I'll hear from them again.

You really can do much better - do some additional searching and you'll find some quality stuff for half the price of theirs............I think the best stuff out there is called Dura Blue but my brain is kinda' faded.

What you are looking for is mil-spec stuff, not all this other crap on the Internet.

I used to be. I'll eat up sequential cars all day long...unless they're the upgraded twins...

SEQUENTIAL = BOOST PROBLEMS

How many non-sequential guys you know complain about boost problems? $20 says NONE.

Ok, it's called Duro Blue. Viton is incredible but REALLY expensive, and way overkill unless you are using it on the Space Shuttle. Go to www.acmerubber.com and amaze yourself. Just remember to never use silicone tubing in direct contact with oil - they don't get along well

DUDE!!!!!!!!, you guys need to try the RS Akimoto hoses! I had them installed in my FD when it was still stock turboed, and those hoses are great quality and are very difficult to kink, my 2 cents.

This explains why my PCV hose was sweating oil. I'm going to plug the PCV off, so no more worries there.

There is a kit for our cars. I ordered one last week.
I couldn't belive how much there was when I opened the box.
I was really debating going non-seq. when I was fumbling around and replacing the stock hoses.

LOL...non-sequential silicone hose replacement can be done in about 10 minutes for the WHOLE JOB.

I can vouch for RonKMiller (regarding the Hose Techniques). If you have ever seen the kit, the hoses are almost the same consistency as balloons. The hoses are extremely flexible and in my opinion, are not very strong at all.

OK.........lemme see if I have this and what RonK is saying straight............of all the silicone hoses out there..........Duro Blue seems to be the best in his opinion, right?............are there any alternatives though since there seems to be a problem with the silicone itself?...............Thanks.......

Sorry I'm so dense on this............momma didn't quite drown all the dumb ones..........
