the hose on the side of the air box where does it go cuz it gose from the side then where?

Its a vent hose. The stock airbox has a silencer for the ACV. You know that MOOING noise people talk about when they get aftermarket air intakes? The stock airbox has a silencer for it, which is why we never hear it, and it just vents it to atmosphere.
