hose for boost gauge

should i use the hose that was included with my apex boost gauge or go get some silicon hose? i figure it'll get hot in the engine bay so maybe even for the boost gauge i should get good hoses. if so where can i get silicon hose asap (w/o waiting for shipping).

The hard line is better, because it doesn't swell under high pressure, which may give a false lower psi reading. I have silicone hose from the UIM to the guage so I limit boost to 10psi for this very reason. Also the hard line is thinner and responds quicker as boosted air rushes to the guage.
