It looks good unpainted from the front, but when you go around to the side, it looks a little wierd. The car looks great regardless. I never new i would like white on a car untill i seen my first white fd. Beautiful car man. Keep her running, and enjoy the weather up there while it lasts.

I think I will keep it that way, even my girl likes it and she is not a car person, also the looks more alive the way it is, I understand that not all will like my taste but to each his own right...next upgrade will be the brembo BBK with 99 spec rears...

Oh and yeah Chuck and Stefan I will be visiting probably in June so I will see you guys then.

Ha ha Chuck, I thought you would be sick of me already since I bug you everyday..

Thanks to you and Sonny my car runs so good...

You should really look at the Stoptech or AP kits instead -- they are significantly cheaper, both initially and replacement parts wise -- and they certainly have equal build quality and braking performance.

Looks good. I have the same exact hood and left it unpainted, despite the cries on here to paint it. Car looks nice

Yeah, but CF on red looks different/better than CF on white. I didn't realize that you had that hood. Now I'm going to definitely be the copycat.

I'll definitely second that. Was able to use them for the first time at the Rev...I was really getting on those heavily and damn if they didn't perform well.

Very nice FD! Can you see your single turbo when the hood is closed?

I just checked out stoptech's website and their kits are almost $1000 cheaper than the brembo, I might just go this route, thanks Tyler....

Ha ha my son's name is Tyler too...

I strongly recommend contacting Dave Zeckhausen at Zeckhausen Racing. They are the largest Stoptech vendor and Dave tracks an FD. He is extremely knowledgable about braking systems and gives good customer service. As a plus, he can order you a custom Stoptech kit that is balanced for the 99-rears -- mine should be here any day now.

You can see it if you stand by the driver side of the car.

I have been debating on this hood for about a year now. You sir just sold me on it! I posted a request for pictures of a white car with a carbon fiber hood a while back and even got a few but none with Chuck's hood. It looks great! Keep it CF too!
