Nifty Pyrometer

It says it supports 10 different kinds of inputs. What are the chances of you being able to just plug the stock sensors wire into it and having it work?

Carson, that is a sweet modification you got there. I like that one a lot!

My favorite homebrew mod is the light I wired up under the hood. I have it on a toggle so I can turn on some light under the hood at night. Works like a champ.

that would come in very handy for lots of situations. do you tend to check your oil at nite? or have hoses pop off in the middle of nowhere?

Under "input types":

TC: K, E, S, R, J, T, B, WRe3-WRe25

RTD: Pt100, Cu50

and heat ranges:

K (-200~+1300ºC), S (-50~+1600ºC), WRe3-WRe25 (0~2300ºC ), R (-50~+1600ºC), T (-200~400ºC), E (-200 ~900ºC), J (-200~1200ºC), B (350~1800ºC), Pt100 (-200~+600ºC), Cu50 (-50~150ºC)

i think WRe3-WRe25 would be the most useful.

Even better: Dual Display

anyone who knows electronics? specifically thermocouples?

also see my signature for a chance to get in on this group buy deal!! we have about 35 people...but need a few more heads to get 11 of those people a brace at a great deal! (1st batch is only 24 pieces...and we might be able to buy half a sheet to make some more)

No believe it or not I never did read that post. I'll have a look at it later on. Thanks for the link. In regards to the oil pan braces, I'll have to take a pass I have a big list to get my rx7 back together next month. I just had my engine rebuilt so I should be good anyhow.

Thanks.
