Unhappy "Hold" button doesn't work...slow launch?

Hi Everybody:

I recently bought a 93 RX7 (Obviously I have an Auto because of the subject line) and I took my car to a shop to get the maintainance thing done like oil change, transmission fluid change, diff oil change, new spark plugs, fuel filter replaced. I also had the downpipe reliablity mods done and a couple things I needed like the Greddy Boost Gauge, Greddy EGT Gauge, and a Greddy Turbo timer. To my surprise, the car seems slower launching off a dead stop because under 2000rpms the cars hesistates and after 2000rpms it's fine. I also noticed that the "Hold" button feature doesn't work anymore. I searched the forum about this "Hold" button problem, but there wasn't any info similar to mine. Anything should I look at?

Hi Merciless:

I'm not a mechanic so, what does these connectors look like? Where is this located on the car?

As for where i'm from: I used to represent the West-Side, but I recently moved to the North-side.

I wonder if the shop took the shifter cover off for any reason. If they wired any of those guages into your gear light on your center console maybe they removed the shifter cover and pulled the hold button wire loose in the process.
