Sorry to waste a post but i wanted to point out that the first day of owning a FD is f#%$in siiick... i find myself looking out my window every 20 minutes to stare at it

 

Congrats Post some pictures of the car when you get a chance. I still do the same thing after 2 1/2 months, I just go out to the garage and stare

Congrats on the purchase. I'm on my second FD, had it about 5 months now, and still look out the window at it from time to time. Heh heh.

 

I have owned mine for a year and a half and still sit in the grass of the front lawn and look at her and some times I even sit in her even when I am not going anywhere. Have fun and welcome.

this is the only pic ive got so far... grabbed it off the old owners website... sucks for him...
anyways ive actually had the car for a little over a month but the second day i had it i blew the second turbo... i immediatly contacted the former owner about it and would have returned it had he not opted to spring for the 99 spec turbos (Woohoo!)... so my cars been sittin at JPR Imports for the past month gettin them setup nonsequentially... finally got it today and goddam its sweet... as soon as i got it i of course went out lookin for prey... really wanted to toast a weak civic or 2 to get my confidence up while learnin all the little quirks of the car... but unfortunatly that wasnt the case... hadnt had the car out for 20 minutes when out of nowhere a brand spankin new Porsche GT3 pulls up next to me...bright red and ridiculous lookin...havin never seen 1 i was kinda awestruck but still managed to drop back into 3rd be4 he hit it and absolutely left me...wasnt even close... so i shut it down and was laughin to myself thinkin hey thats not a bad car to lose to on ur first day when i hear some ridiculous exhaust comin from behind me... yeah its a brand new Lambo Gallardo... silver with what had to be 20s on it... i was doin 50 he pulled up next to me doin what musta been 90... kinda slowed down for a sec as he passed me just to let me get a good look and then hit it and was GONE... i swear he chirped them at 90... i didnt even bother downshiftin... just kinda sat there in amazement... not sure if they were together but damn what are the odds of seein those 2 cars back to back... tryed to stick with them to see if they would go at it but damn they were flyin and i just couldnt justify a huge ticket my first day out... now im regretting it...woulda been sick to see... anyways im in the south jerZ area always lookin for other rotaries out there... will prolly be drivin nonstop for the next few weeks so look for me... my car is a 93 Vintage red... 99 specs nonseq, with Tanabe exhaust, Pettit IC, AST, and APex"i Ecu on the way...as for now ive just got a big whole in my muffler and damn it sounds sweet...
