HKS twinpower installation

Did some searching but still uncertain....can this be installed without the $40 Harness? I have one enrotue but the harness is apparently on Backorder .

Yes you can hard wire the twin power.

Doesnt hard wiring it require cutting factory wires? If so i wouldnt recommend that at all! I would just wait.

+1 do not get excited and start cutting. You will run the risk of really messing something up! Wait for the harness and save yourself the headache

well I'm confident about the level of electrical installation competence at my garage so if its possible I'll splice. Does it come with a wiring diagram? ( JASON...chime in here)

Call twincam motorsports in concord california, last time i checked they had ordered the twin power harness for the fd for Mostly mazda, M2 before they closed shop. That's where I got my harness for my twin power.

The twin power harness is a 30 second install and if you decide you don't like it or it's not doing what you want... you can just disconnect it.

The problem is that the harness is almost impossible to get. Getting the actual unit is easy but the harness is usually back ordered. At least it was when I was looking.

Check with teh RX-7 store...I just ordered one 2 weeks ago, the harnesses came in last week and mine shipped out that day, they should have them in stock...
