HKS Turbo Timer Dreaded install

heres the rundown....

I have the hks type-0 unit. i have the male and female all hooked up under the steering column. Now off of the wiring harness i have a green , white, and red wire leading off. and off of the turbo timer i have grey with brown stripe and red tip, brown with black stripe and red tip, and black with brown stripe no tip just a little bit of copper wire showing leading off the turbo timer itself. My manual instructions are in japanese. What I have done thus far, is from researching other topics , but i get stumped after you plug in the male and female. I would appreciate help in this area. Im not too familiar with electrical terms. Also I dont want responses that say your opinion on Turbo timers and i dont want responses that say research it yourself, or figure it out for yourself because thats rediculus dont waste your time.

-Thankyou-

I have the same timer, and bought the plug and play harness. it does have a brown wire which needs to be hooked up to the parking brake I believe, and I can't remember if it needs a ground or power, or if its all in the harness. I don't remember it being too difficult aside from getting the plug out from under the steering column. Couldn't figure out the damn plastic clip for a long time. If u want me to go through my config for it, I'd be happy to, just ask. I'll check back here because Im in the middle of trying to fix my center console shifter panel because it keeps popping up and I can't seem to get it to stay down. Annoying.

Hey thanks for the response, I definately need some help. My friend has a greddy TT installed and I looked at his for quite some time and I get stuck. The wires are different colors. His harness has the red, white and green coming off but there attached to nothing. His turbo timer on the other hand has different colored wires and I cant see where they're going. He would help me more, but it was installed when he purchased the Help would be greatly appreciated . Thanks Stevey

Step 1- Go here (different than above)

http://www.hksusa.com/products/?id=837

Step 2- Go to "find a dealer" and purchase this TT harness

4103-RZ002 MAZDA RX-7 1993-1996 Turbo ZT-2 $15.00

Step 3- Remove upper and lower steering colum covers

Step 4- locate and disconnect statrer coupler (plug should be the same size as the harness you ordered)

Step 5- Connect harness into starter coupler and to your turbo timer

Step 6- Hook up any safety wires. I.E parking brake, speedometer, brake etc.

Step7- verify unit works

Step 8- All done, put everything back together

Note- If the timer isnt working make sure you have it propery connected to all safety features.

Why are you even bothering with the turbo timer?

I've one with my car but never used it after I bought my car from the original owner.

My car has 100K and the turbo is still good. PFS told me don't waste money with the timer, our turbo is oil and water cooled.

Just ground the parking brake wire, it doesn't need to be connected to function.
