HKS Super Dragger

Anyone know if the RX7 store has any HKS super dragger exhausts in stock? I was told that they were discontinued and I can't get in touch with anyone at the store.

The HKS Super Dragger puts out a great tone...but it is damn big. like scrape-on-the-ground-if-your-not-very-careful big..If you have springs...even worse.

The Apex'i GT does sound good with a straight through though. Just stay away from thier N1 series (sounds like ****)

having larger piping, and very similar design, i cant imagine how the GT-Spec would sound much different than the very shitty sounding N1s, only louder.

Sorry guy HKS is trying to phase out the Super Dragger. There is the Super Dragger II though. But it is different than the original. First it is less expensive. But it is not the same size. The canister is still the rounded Dragger style but the overall diameter is the same as the Hiper cansiter.

Also the exhaust comes straight out the rear not angled.

Thanks guys, might just go with the power extreme but it's almost as big as the dragger. But I've actually seen a PE on someone's car and the can didn't seem as big so maybe it wouldn't scrape so bad.

There's the Power Extreme (before my car was lowered).

admitedly, the only car I've heard the GT on is a street ported, downpiped, midpiped single turbo. And it sounded great. I've heard N1s numerous times, including a street ported, downpiped, midpiped single turbo, and the GT sounds much better for some reason. The N1s seem to sound raspy, whereas the GT sounds nice and throaty.

I have been thinking of trading my Superdragger with someone for a more dicrete looking exhaust. Gettin old and sick of people asking about it. I have put about 9000 miles on it. Seen rain only 1-2X and is in great shape.
Its very quiet under cruising and nice sound under WOT. I bought it for $800 but I 'll sell it to you for whatever I pay for like used PFS or similiar style exhaust for myself. Just want to cover my costs.
email me if interested. mcclurerx7@yahoo.com
P.S. I'll be in chapel hill next week.
