HKS SSQV install... help!
Ok, i've been looking around on the forums for the past couple of days, but i haven't found anything that really helps me out.
I bought an HKS SSQV, brand new, the kit with the flange and mounts and all that. But the only problem is the directions are in Japanese. And i have no idea what to do with all these parts that come with the BOV.
So, i have a Fighters Garage intake. It leaves the two BoV hoses that were recirculated open, i just have them laying there next to the air filters. Could someone direct me to some sort of directions on how to install the HKS BoV? and also, i saw on a picture somewhere on these forums that someone just moved the BoV hose somewhere else and mounted the BoV in a different location. I think i would like to do that aswell so if someone is familiar with this then please help me out!

Do you have the FD specific kit that replaces the stock BOV in the stock location? Or do you have the kit with a mounting flange that needs to be welded onto a pipe? The FD kit installation is very simple; disconnect the stock BOV and replace it with the HKS. Since you're already venting to atmosphere with your intakes there is nothing else to do. If you want to relocate to the intercooler pipe then you have to weld a mounting flange onto it.

Ok, there are the pictures of all the parts that came with the BoV and the two hoses that are left over after installing the Intake.
What goes where??

No it's not Turbo'd
The small tubes and small cylindrical / disc thing are all for Vacuum, from where the stock BOV pulls vacuum or somewhere else (Manifold has multiple nipples)
The Disk thing is a filter and keeps oil from damaging the BOV. So it needs to go somewhere in-between the vacuum source, and the BOV.
The rest of the hoses are for getting / relocating the BOV (SSQ) to a place where it has room. But Basically think of it as a pressure/vacuum activated switch.
Boost comes from turbo, goes through smaller pipe and hits Closed SSQ, once boost turns to vacuum, the small hose pulls the plate on the SSQ open, and lets any excess pressure go to atmosphere... (Open Air)...
Hope that helps if not, maybe nook up a turbo charger diagram to explains about BOV, & wastegate control.. after that the parts should make sense...

Ok I colored coated your parts to match my install let me know if you have any questions? By the way the big thin colored green vac line you will have to cut in two to install the check valve or as you put it the plastic thingy. The rest I didnt need like the other metal part is if you want to weld the bov to your IC piping and the other metal peaces look to me to be just mounting brackets.
