HKS SSQV BOV question

Ok, So I'm needing some help installing my HKS BOV, I have the flange welded onto a Greddy elbow. So that part I got down. What about the vacuum lines? Where are the stock BOV's? Do I need to remove them? Where do the vacuum lines go and come from for the bov?

Any pictures and/or advice would be much appreciated.

BTW, that C-clip for the flange is a HUGE PITA

So on the 2nd link, is the vacuum line that's been circled the one that's originally capped off?

Ok first did you mount the bov to the Greddy elbow flange yet? On the UIM there are two nipples one usually goes to the boost gauge and the other to the bov, the order you hook up the vacume lines dont matter. Remove the stock bov and install a cap on the Y pipe and your done.

I seem to not be able to find where the stock bov is or what it even looks like?

remove old BOV, install the nipple to the vac off of the IM. If you have two nipples on the SSQV (2nd and 3rd generation models came with) then use the bottom one for the boost gauge and the top one off of the same vac line. I had a first gen model (the originals with twice the price tag) back in the day and none has a sexier sound imho. However the HKS is one of the louder models if run into atmo.

So i need to find remove the "air bypass valve". when I disconnected the 4mm vacuum line from it and just left it open, my boost dropped to 6psi. Then I "T" it off with the HKS bov and now it's back up to regular psi.
