HKS FMIC manual/instructions?

Hey guys -

I have a buddy who just bought a used HKS front mount intercooler, trying to see if anyone has a copy of the instructions or pictures of this setup installed.

I found a few old threads where I told people to get the instructions from HKS USA, which is now unfortunately defunct.

This is NOT the newer V-mount kit, it's the older front mount kit.

Thanks!

Dale

Don't have instructions but here are pictures of the HKS FMIC kit during installation with the T51R. You can go through them and figure out the bracketry. Banzai Racing (Zavala RX-7 Engine Installation)

That's a big help, thanks!

Anyone else with any input? I'd REALLY love to see the manual.

I don't have a manual I'm afraid, I just removed this setup from my car, wish I'd taken some photo's of it coming apart, they would have helped you.

Anyway as a brief description there are 2 brackets one for each side of the rad (see photo in above post) these sit on top of the frame rails and bolt to existing threaded inserts in the frame rails.

There are a couple of angled brackets that bolt to the stock rad mounts and hold the ac condenser upright infront of the rad.

Theres brackets for the ic but I can't think exactly which part of the frame they bolted to, sorry.

There is a bracket for the ast and mine was then bolted ontop of the brace that runs between the frame rails just infront of the motor.

Finally there was a bracket for the ac canister and that mounted to the front slam panel.

Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Found a photo not great but you can make out the ast location and ac canister in the bottom of the pic.

Here's a better one showing ast location and you can just see the rad brackets on each side.

I still have the bits laying around the garage.

Here's the ac condenser with the mounting brackets on:

and here's the ic with brackets:

Hopefully these will help, the yellow'ish composite bumper support that bolts to the ends of the frame rails needs to be cut out to fit around the ic.

Wow, thanks for all the pics, Richard! That's a big help!

Still would LOVE a copy of the manual. Really interested to see how that kit was put together!

Any cutting of the belly pan needed? Do you happen to have a picture of your belly pan?

I'm not sure I'm afraid, my car has the Re-Amemiya ADGT kit with their undertray, there was no modifications required to that so I can only assume the stock tray would also be okay.
