Hinson Modified Wilwood Clutch MC

Does anyone have any experience installing this on a stock setup (engine/trans)?

https://www.hinsonsupercars.com/p-47...-modified.aspx

Curious what it takes to adapt to the stock reservoir and slave cylinder.

Why would anyone install that on a stock setup?

As far as I know this would only be needed if you need more fluid capacity. Probably a necessity for a LSx T56 swap. I am guessing totally unnecessary for a rotary unless you did a T56 trans conversion.

The kit straight from wilwood should come with everything you would need to plumb it up, probably have to bend up a line. Hinson modifies the pushrod to accept the stock hardware. I also recommend getting the adapter plate to clock the master. With the added fluid movement you would definitely have to adjust the pedal farther down.

Thought this might help with heavy pressure plates, but maybe it's not a great idea with stock manual transmission

So, i retract my earlier statement on why vs how

For an easier effort you would have to figure out how to run a larger diameter slave. You would need a longer stroke on the master with the same diameter as stock.
