nvm guys, I used my head and fixed it. you can delete this post. I guess I just needed to type out the problem..and then it hit me haha

 

Check all of the hoses and connections first.
Did you ever take off the TPS?

I took mine off recently and put it back on incorrectly, (metal part of throttle bottle on the wrong side of the TPS grooves) and it caused my idle to hold at 3k rpm. Thing is, i doubt this would happen when driving, only if you take off the tps and dont put it on right

 

I missed your thread.

I'm not trying to bust your ***** nor anything but for the forum's sake: It would had been really nice if you would had followed up with your fix rather than just editing your original thread and saying nvm. You never know someone else may be having the same issue or you could help someone out years from now.
