High idle problem

I started my car today for the first timer after being in storage for the winter. It started fine the idle climbed to 3000rpm the AWS kick in and it dropped to around 800-1100rpm and stayed there. After about 5 minutes of it idling, once the engine was warm, the idle started to climb. It climbed up to 2000-2200rpm and stayed there. I turned the car off, left it for a few minutes and then restarted it. Right away it idled again around 2000-2200. My car is an automatic, in park and neutral the idle stays high, once in gear it drops to 800-1000rpm.

I never had an idle problem when I put the car away last summer. The engine was replaced last summer and has around 500miles on it and all the vacuum hoses were replaced with silicone ones when the new engine was installed, so I don't think that could be a problem.

Any ideas?
