high idle

is anyone having the same problem i am?

my motor is ported and idleing at 1100-1200 PRM...i ajusted the TPS to the book specs but still have high idle...do u guys think it's because it's ported and the compter is sending a signal to injecting more air to make up for the rich condition?

my TPS is ajusted to 0.78v closed throttle...4.9v full open throttle....

please let me know what your experience is with a ported high idle motor...are you able to get it to idle under 900 RPM and running smooth??

did you try adjusting the throttle cable?

i think ported motors have a little less power at low rpm so you might want at least 1000 so you don't stall out.

Did you try to adjust the idle control?

If that doesn't work, perhaps you have a leak somewhere past the intake manifold? Cracked hose, blown cap, etc?

does your idle goes up and down when your turn your parking light?
