High flow cat

Do you have to have air supply if you put in a high flow cat? I'm trying to get my car to pass emissions, but I have long since removed my air pump. I"m thinking of putting in a high flow cat and a racing beat dual tip.

Yes, you have to have air supply for a high flow cat. If you don't have air supply the cat will die in months. Only midpipes can hang without air supply.

I have a mid pipe at this point. Looks like I'm going to have to bribe some folks at the inspection place.

You must have a working air pump to pass emissions, with ANY cat.
