Question High Amp Alternator... where?

Does anyone knows where I could get a high amp alternator and feedbacks on it?

yea I searched and there was couple made by located shop or used from some GM... any type of 200a alt that is recommend.. I have a stereo system and it seems its not running enough juice..

a capacitor will only conceal the problem for awhile but he will still need more power in the future.

Take your stock alternator to a local shop they should be able to rebuild it with different internals. I did that and had them throw on a slightly smaller pully than before and have had no problems since. It was far cheaper than getting a new alt too.

I think I might send my alternator to gotham racing for a rebuild.. but I got to see if they could upgrade it.. also I think i should get a capacitor too..

Do some research. Capacitors are worthless. They are sales gimmicks for the guys at Best Buy and Circuit City.
