Hi-Flow Cat

I have a DP and Apex-i N1 catback. Now looking for a Hi-Flow main cat. Who sell's them and any help in the selection?

N-tech makes a very nice high flo cat. Has the nipple for the air pump to fit in with some minor modifications. Switching from my mp to N-tech high flo this week. MP is too loud for daily driving.

I believe I paid a total of 347 for the cat.

random technologies makes one...but I've heard of a couple of cases where they didnt fit well. N-Tech seems to be the way to go.
I hope you have some sort of ECU upgrade to help ur engine out

Cincy7, I have the N-Tech...it was $364 with shipping to Columbus...I'm very happy with it, very nice construction and Nick is a helpful guy.....the only downside was that I had to do it through money order.....

I was going to let this go, but after the second "Nick is so helpful/great guy" comment I had to speak up. Heres my Nick is a great guy story. I month ago I orderd a cat and a battery kit from Nick. He indicated that he had the battery kit in stock but was out of the cats and that he could get them in 2-3 days and did not take credit cards. So I send him a check for the full amount. First week goes by and no cat or kit. Call him, cats on back order. OK, fine, I`m going to be out of town for a while and the car can stay in the shop. Two + weeks, cat shows up, no kit. Call Nick leave message no reply. Call again in a day or two on a friday, leave message, no reply. Call again that same day get a guy on the phone who says he can`t help me and that Nick is on his way to MADS. But he gives me Nicks cell #. Get Nick. Tells me that the battery trays for the kits still need to be welded and his tech, the guy who claimed to be a house sitter, can`t do it. But Nick will do it first thing when he gets back. I point out it`s been 3 + weeks since I ordered the kit. He says well he`ll try to get his tech/house sitter get it welded over the Memorial Day weekend. Yeah, right! No thanks, I point out it would have been nice if he had bothered to call me and let me in on some of this and then ask him to send me my money back for the battery kit. Ask him to call me when the check is in the mail. Well guess what, it`s been 6 days since that conversation and no call, no check and I only live across the state from him. Nick,great guy, real helpfull. Good luck to you.

I've read posts about Random Tech's cats failing quickly.

Well Capt Bill, sorry to hear about your bad luck, actually my hi-flo was back ordered too well truthfully the order was lost, but I never had any trouble getting in touch with Nick, it took about 4 days for the item to come in the about 4 days(weekend) to ship it.....

As for Rx7.com, I forgot they had a hi-flo and probably woulda gone that way, although it's a little more $$$, but Rotary Performancee is without a doubt one of THE best places to get parts.......outstanding service

But anyways, I would choose between those 2, Random cats are a rip off, at least that's what all my V8 buddies tell me and you know how thrifty they can be....

You guys should check out the new turbo magazine, it has a black FD with a t-78 greddy turbo, with rx7.com's hi-flo cat, and it passes smog. I have also heard that nick's cat at n-tech flows 97% as much as a midpipe, after all 97% and no epa fines ever I'd much rather go that route.
