I have seen flowtest results from various hiflow cats, vs a stock honda cat,
and vs a straight pipe..

the better performing hiflow cats flow numbers were really not too far off
from a straight pipe!

it went something like this(these are approximate numbers from my memory)
stock cat 250cfm
hiflocats 280-360cfm
straightpipe 410cfm

considering how loud, and obnoxious exhausts sound without any cat at all..
and how smooth and nice they sound with a hiflow, plus you're protecting the environment(somewhat.. heh) and avoiding a gigantic fine..

definetely the hiflow cat is a good investment.
