Hey rx7 gurus I need your help for fds rear caliper?
Ok today I was changing my rear pad's left side replace with no problem check and rotate tire spin free, now on the right {passenger} replace pad and put back everything together and I can't spin my the rotor I loosen the caliper bolt and the rotor spins free, ok so I retighten the bolts to the caliper and can't spin the rotor free. to me everything look good caliper and pads rotor's but I am not sure on the bolts it's it possible that I have a warped bolts? >I never seen a warped caliper bolt so I can't make a good judement. Also I jack-up the rear so both tires don't touch the ground, now I start the car put it in 1st gear let go the clutch and still the right rear wheel won't spin free left does spin but not the right. Also I think I took the speed to 10 miles that is more than enough to spin both tires right? also the does the touring model comes with lsd or posi? help me out guy's weather is nice and I need to drive my baby. thanks, khris

all fd's come with LSD tranny's but its a torque sensing type so i dont think that if you jack it up and turn one wheel the other one will turn, the other should stay put.

it sounds like you may need a caliper rebuild. I donīt remember about the back but i do knoe the bolts on the front caliper are different lengths, if you install the wrong bolt, it will rub against the rotor, check that first.

LSD trannys LSD= Limited slip differential Not the tranny. And "Tranny's" is possesive meaning something belongs to the tranny. If you have both wheels off the ground one will spin one way the other the opposite.
Have you tried steping on the brakes? may need to be seated? Could be put in wrong. could be ?
