just want to know what the stats on rx7 owners that keep their car and for what lenght of time before they call it quits or decide to sell

 

I've had my 93 r1 for 10yrs now can't seem to part with it, even through hard times.

 

3 months with it running and 3 years without it running. And I still can't let 'er go.

 

5 years was enough for me!

 

im still the original owner of my 93 R1, purchased in 93.

I got married and had a kid,
I sacrificed alot. Gave up my buddies, gave up Club scene and h0es.
Sold the motorcycle and became a family man.

But one thing I held fast on was my FD. Every man needs aleast one toy.

 

2nd owner and have had it since jun 2000

 

Second Owner - I've had it about a year and a half. driven it about 1500 miles or so for a total of 26,000k miles. 94R2

 

Since 1992.

 

Still got my FB purchased Oct 83 and FD purchased March 95. In this time have had two wive's, two divorces and one son.

 

2nd owner, had it since May 2000. Can't believe its been so long already!

 

Owned her since December of 1998, put over 80,000 miles on her. Never going to call it quits, never going to sell.

 

Had mine since April of 2005. Put a lil' over 1,200 miles since then.

 

Man what a good attitude! Love it. Cars look great.

 

had mine since June 2001, always been my secondary car. The longest she was down: 2 months. I've put 28k on her.
On those days when its being a bastid I consider selling, but then driving it makes me keep it. Love and hate, hehe.

 

I've had mine since September 2000 and put on about 18k miles on it. It has 60.9k miles on original motor.

 

I've owned mine for about 3 years. I've considered torching it a lot more that I've considered selling it... It's a love hate relationship!

 

First 1st gen =12 years ,, first 2nd gen 4-5 years ,,first 3rd gen 9 mo. Second 3rd gen 9 years .

 

Owned mine since 99. I suppose I would sell it if someone offered me top dollar for it.

 

I had my 79 RX-7 GS for 4.5 years, sold it several years ago and still miss it. I've had my 95 FD for almost 4 years now...no intentions of selling it.

 

Purchased my FD in June of 2003. Sold in October 2005.

 

will be 3 years on may 2006. Boutght at 68,000 rebuilt at 85,000. at 88,000 miles currently

 

about 4 1/2 years and 65k miles, it's been one hell of a ride.

 

Owned a 1991 for 2 years...sold it for college. Had dreams about driving it (every once in a while...I'm not that much of a freak) until I bought my FD. I had a dream about driving it again; woke up...instead of being disappointed because I sold it, stoked because I had a sexy rare fast one; that was the last dream of the FC.

Own a 1995, for over 3 years, 30k miles, can't sell.

Been Seq (1yr, Coolant Seal)
Been Non-seq (1yr, Apex Seal)
Currently Single (1yr+)
Going N/A (life)

I want 200k miles before I have to pull that motor again, Just have to keep her running long enough to start gathering parts...even with that track record, no regrets. When its good, just about undescribable

 

I had it for about 2 years now.... and its my 2nd FD.
