I am running pretty much stock...have an air intake thats abt it...n an apexi avcr boost controller...ur spot on with the fuel/boost cut n plugs messed up...have the boost set at 13psi...get this weird fuel cut type hesitation between 5-6k...

i would also do a compression check to insure how good the motor is internally.
bro the prob is my fd n my friend samads fd are the only two that i know of...now ours definitely arent capable of beating evos...like i mentioned i raced from launch and max i got closest was 2 cars behind him...the evo would increase its lead even in 2nd which i thought was pretty strong in my own car...yeah a compression test is in order though :S apart from our fds theres another rx7 in another city who claims he sticks to evo8s but his clutchs finished so the car hasnt started in abt 8 months ...

I'd set the boost controller to 11.5psi at the upper limit (12psi is fuel cut).

If I were still out there I'd offer to filter parts in to you through me (shipping would be a HELL of a lot cheaper).

If you can get a hold of the PFC I would def do so. Do you know any Hawala's (though I would be hesitant to approach one, given the modern misconception..) who could get the correct PFC your way? (if you know one in the UK let me know, I will do what I can to get the ECU to them). From there I would def read up on the PFC subsection, there is enough there to at least give you a basic understanding on how to correctly tune (yourself) the 7. Though, honestly this would require a Datatalogit and a true Wideband AFR readout as well.

Let me know, I'll try to do what I can to help out.
thanks man getting it is not the prob...its abt tuning it and if uve posted on the other important decision topic you'd knw that im still not sure whether to stick to a rotary or what not...
