Hesitation Around 3rpm's Help!!!

my '93 rx7 hesitates around 3k rpms what is the problem. it hesitates for about a second or two and then keeps on going. Usually does it when fairly cold.

Yes, it's normal on a lot of RX7s due to the transition on teh fuel pump. NOrmally changing the ECU or regrounding parts of the car will help this.

I just posted this link yesterday but oh well. I bought a PowerFC to get rid of it. Havent installed it yet. If i do soon ill give a followup.

a simple change of the ground straps could get rid of this but every RX7 has it's own way of solving this problem. Some works for one and not for another. Getting the power FC seems to be a sure way of getting rid of it. However, my first shot would is to add some new grounds.

does anyone know if the PFC uses two speeds for the fuel pump, like the stock ECU? or still turns on the secondary injectors at 3000rpm?

oxygen sensors replacement with a high quality properly installed unit is known to help along with the ground cables. im offering one for sale in the classifieds

clean and reinstall the negative ground cable, drivers side.
