Unhappy Hesitation at 4500 rpm


I bougth a 3°generation RX7 i live in Italy,
when i'm at full throttle the car start to increase speed and rpm but at 4500 it as a very short loss of power of half second, but is strange because its do that very often but not always.
this car was unused for a long time but it as only 5000 KM (about 3000 miles) all most new
Someone can help me???

It`s normal. 4500 rpm is the change over point from the primary turbo to the secondary turbo. Get a boost gauge and you should see the boost build to 10psi then dip to 8 psi at 4500 rpm and back up to 10 psi quickly.

may be you'r right but i guess i shoudn't feel that,
i think should be regoular from 1000 to 7000 rpm

Well, install a boost gauge and see what the boost dip is at change over. Perhaps you`r boost pattern is off.

Its actually VERY easy to adjust the boost pattern at 4500rpm.

Just hurry up and get that boost gauge :p
