hesitation at 3k rpm

I've had a problem w/ my fd. when I accelorate I get a hesitation at about 3k rpms. the more gas I give it the stronger the hesitation.

I heard that a lot of fds have this problem b/c it's a problem w/ the ground wires or something like that.

does anyone know how to fix this?

hasn't anyone had this problem? I've had this problem on my other fd, so I'm sure someone else has this problem.

yes,

Grounding will help, but not resolve it. It sounds like my problem. It is the transition from primary to secondary injectors. Do a search and you will find more information.

At this point, the only guaranteed cure is to replace the ECU with a PowerFC or AEM EMS computer. Piggyback computers or modified stock computers do not solve the problem.

Unplug your o2 sensor, it's just in front of the firewall on the passenger side, roughly underneath the windshield wiper. It is just one wire. The wire leads down to the exhaust. You'll run a little richer, but it's the easiest fix (30 seconds) and the only thing that made a significant difference on my car.

I was planning on buying a power fc anyways so I'll see if it helps, if not I'll try to unplug the o2 sensor.

do you think that this hesitation causes problems to the car?
