help with turbo upgrade

alright so i yanked my motor out of my car to get rebuilt. As it stands it has the stock turbos rebuilt, aspec 450r fuel system kit (with 850 primary 1600 secondary), apexi ecu, and a bunch of other stuff. The turbos were rebuilt 9k miles ago. I read that rebuilt turbos don't like to last long.. and since i have the motor out i was thinking of going to a gt35r single. The car is daily driven and will be tracked... most likely not autocrossed to much. What you guys thing? good or bad idea?

if you looking for response go with t04s turbo 18psi around 3700rpm this turbo is used in feed fd3s and go with v mount intercooler

I've got similar upgrades (850cc primaries, 1600cc secondaries, street port, radiator) and I was looking prety hard at the GT 35R turbo kit. I may end uo with the GT 40R, though. I would like to hit over 500hp since I put all th time and money into that fuel system upgrade. I feel the 850/1600cc is overkill for a GT 35.

No kit includes everything. Most, if not all, will need to have the IC piping from the turbo to the IC fabricated, the rest of the stuff you need will be in the kit.

If your worried about boost response I am selling a low mi Apex'i RX-6 single kit. Spools almost as fast as twins and is capable of over 400whp on pump. PM me if your interested.

More on topic, definitly go single. Thats my opinion anyways, its way less complex, the power band is linear and the power gains are sweet. You will want one down the road so just save yourself the hassle and do it now.

Yes they do, unless they say they don't.

I agree about the RX-6 kit. And as far as single goes, don't half *** it. Do it right the first time. You'll save yourself time, headaches, and LOTS of MONEY.

That term " kit" is a pretty loose word in the turbo world. Most places are just selling a turbo manifold, wastegate, turbo, cooling lines, an air filter and calling it a kit. The only place I know of that will build you everything, and I mean everything, full exhaust system, complete intercooler, fuel system etc is the guys over at turblown.net. Thats what they did for me...

well, all i know i would need is the fuel system. i got the exhaust and ic done, i know 1300s wont really do much for single turbos so thats why i would have to upgrade it.. already got fuel pump also.. i got i believe almost all bolt ons.
