check the FS forum for used ones or try any of the parts vendors that offer upgraded oil cooler kits

I can't imagine the stock oil cooler lines being $1000 for just the lines (but you never know with Mazda). The problem with using steel braided lines is that the stock fittings are not AN fittings.

It can be done, use -10an ss braided hose from summitt racing and do a search for the fittings.

No one said it couldn't be done. But it's definitely more work than just getting some used stock lines.

:

I've seen the lines and oil cooler for sale recently on here. I would suggest going that way or just spend a load and buy a complete oil cooler upgrade kit with dual coolers, S-braided lines with AN fittings and be done with it.

i'm just going to use steel braided lines, they're easy to make and cost a lot less if you do it your self, and used ones could leak just as well.
