HELP:pulled ignition upgrade, something now wrong

I need advice asap. The previous owner had a ignition amplifier with rev limiter by crane cams in FL. I pulled it out today and reconnected everything back to the stock wiring. Now when I start the car it sounds like only one rotor is working or like the timing is severely off, or something is igniting. Is a wire just loose, or any other ideas? Before I ripped the upgrade out it ran perfect, now it shakes, and white smoke is coming from the exhaust, help would be appreciated

just some thoughts:
Are the coils good?

Just an easy check (because someone will mention it), you didn't knock the MAP sensor line off did you?

Check the wiring you changed back. Perhaps the leading coil is not firing now. I am not sure, but I would expect that it wouldn't run so well on the trailing plugs only. I remember a few reports that people had when connecting the Crane that a wire was shielded with metal mesh and that it was important not to allow the shielding to be connected to the wire inside.

Hook a timing light up to each plug wire and see if they are all firing.
