Yesterday I was sitting at the bank drivethrough idleing and I accidentally revved it a little(barely noticable). Well when the rpms came back down i heard what Im almost positive was my engine pinging. Then I did it agian to recreate it and it sounded like popcorn. (These were from the engine bay... not the exhaust) Check my sig for my mods. I am currently running an Apexi PFC with the base map... untill i get it tuned with a wideband. I dont have a commander for this thing and im almost afraid to drive the car now. Am I decreasing engine life everytime i take this car for a ride? Could this noise be something else? This week Ill try to richen up my maps a little bit..... hopefully that helps.
