My current setup:
low compression front rotor...
10-12psi boost
stock 550's
rewired FD pump...
hks FCON << this is what gets me i shouldnt be pinging

anyways at 10psi of boost i get some SERIOUS pinging and my car lags and lerches forward..... my question is... i've checked everything voltage at the pump checked if there was fuel in the rail. I was wondering if there was anyway that i can cure this so when im running hard i dont have to let off after 2nd cuz it doesnt happen in 1st or 2nd.... just 3rd , 4th , and 5th is there any cause? any input would help me alot... thanks you guys.... sorry if the post is a lil vauge im kinda lazy rite now

 

go put it on the dyno and get a wideband on there. That'll tell you the AFR at least. Are you sure it's only 10-12 psi?

stright 91.... im not sure on how old the fuel filter is i should change it huh?

 

Maybe your just not getting enough fuel? I mean you only have an FD pump, isn't the walbro bigger than that one? 12lbs without larger injectors either?

 

well when i do get 12psi it doesnt usually ping cuz its REALLY cold outside but say the tempture is around 70 degrees and im runnin 10psi itll ping pretty bad...
