Does anyone know RECARO SP-G fit our car?

I heard from someone that SP-G doesn't fit FD, but RECARO Japan site say it fits.

So does anyone have SP-G in their car? any problem installing? Does the seat shoulder fit?

No idea, but I'm interested in the topic as well. Stock seats aren't very supportive, and the Sparco Torinos are notoriously tight fitting in the FD.

Ive got a set of Recaro SRDs in mine and they fit fine. You have to buy seat mounting brackets but they are only like $80 a seat. Ill try to find the number for the Recaro rep I used. They will be able to tell you if they offer bracket conversions for those seats in a RX. Drop me a mail if I dont get back to you right away. Matty P.

I already know where to get a set of bracket from Japan. Just don't know it will fit or not.

Thanks inukai.

They fit

They fit with a little door interference. Be aware of the bride brackets though. They will make the seat sit super high! I use the Nielex breackets and they work great!

I have the SPG pole position with Custom brackets using the stock slider. The seat fits fine but sits kind of high. Anyone know where I can get sliders and brackets made especially for FD so the seat will be lower?

I kind of need to sit stick on the floor . At 6'2" I can use any head room it will give me. I don't need a slider.

Whats up guys. At this point my 20,700 mile 93 is in pieces. But give me some time and I will be able to download some pics of my seats. I have the US spec SRDs. I got a steal of a deal on them. Let me come up with some more info and get back to you guys. Later Matty P.
