HELP PLEASE- Air intake
To whom it may concern:
I am in the process of constructing a homeade cold air intake similar to the one XPH posted at the following link:
https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...threadid=85397
I have some questions though. There are a total of 7 hoses going out of the stock airbox. I know the two large hoses are for the turbos and one goes to the air pump. Where do the other 4 go? Do i just need to cap off these hoses or what? On his intake it looks like the 2 smaller hoses closest to the passenger side were teed together and using one breather filter. It also looks like he is coming straight out of the air pump with another breather filter. Where does the smaller hose on the right side of the stock airbox and the smaller one on the right side of the top turbo port go?
Any help would be greatly appreciated . Even if you do not have this exact setup......can somebody please tell me where these hoses go and what i should still let breathe.
Thanks,
Cody

the two smaller hoses you are talking about closest to the passenger side are the crv and bov hoses. he must've t'd these together and let them blow off to the atmosphere. many ppl vent the bov and crv. the hose on the right side of the box just goes directly to the ground. it's the hose that comes out of the box venting the air pump. the hose that comes off the air pump and into the air intake actually goes into a smaller box and then out of the intake into this hose. this is to quiet the sound the air pump makes. many ppl refer to it as a mooing sound.
